Firewood combustion technology & emissions

The most suitable combustion techniques for firewood based house heating will be analysed and described in this action. The work is based on fact-finding infrastructure of heating, firing habits, wood quality and firing units in Europe. The aim is to come up with recommendations how to obtain cost effective and low emission wood firing in wood stoves, fireplaces and in small-scale firewood boilers.
